Durrës Plant

Gateway to the Balkan markets and a regional hub for industrial coatings, the Donelli Sh.p.k. plant in Durrës represents the natural evolution of a presence established in Albania since 2008. Today, it is a benchmark provider of anti-corrosion, passive fire protection, insulation, and specialty coating services across the broader Balkan region.

Located in the Porto Romano industrial park, steps from the Durrës industrial port and just 2 km from the highway entrance, the facility offers a privileged logistical position for managing both local projects and work sourced from neighboring countries, supported by a long-term temporary import/export authorization. The plant spans over 5,000 m², including 1,700 m² of enclosed shops equipped for coating, lining, and insulation prefabrication.

The facility includes a steel grit blasting cabinet, coating booths with controlled ambient conditions, and large handling areas served by forklifts and on-demand cranes capable of handling items weighing up to 10 tons. Plant systems and layouts are designed in compliance with European regulations, which are being progressively introduced into the Albanian regulatory framework.

All work is performed in strict accordance with client specifications, using ACQPA-qualified personnel, NACE/FROSIO-certified inspectors, and top-tier inspection equipment. The QA/QC system leverages the tools and procedures of the broader Donelli Group to ensure full traceability, schedule adherence, and compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards.
