A cutting-edge production site, the CX Facility was designed to meet the challenges of the most demanding sectors in terms of corrosion resistance, lightweight design, and technological innovation.
Opened in 2022 as a natural extension of the Cuggiono headquarters, the CX Facility is located less than a kilometer from the main plant and brings together the best technologies for the surface treatment of lightweight components and state-of-the-art powder and liquid coating systems, with a focus on aerospace, defense, and high-corrosion risk sectors.
Designed according to advanced automation principles and integrated with Industry 4.0, the CX Facility has both automatic and manual sandblasting booths, twin powder coating chambers (one of which with a latest-generation induction heating system), and two liquid coating booths (with a line dedicated to aerospace).
An oven capable of reaching 350°C and modern handling systems also allow for considerable operational versatility and superior polymerization performance.
