Insulation works on piping, tanks, valves and equipment
Nowadays, main contractors require an even more comprehensive service in installation activities in power plants and petrochemical facilities, in order to minimize times and maximize safety by avoiding interference among different subcontractors. This led our company to add an insulation department a few years ago.
We can now complete our services with the installation of cold and hot insulation systems, saving both time and money by using the same site organization, scaffolding, etc. Surface preparation, anticorrosive painting, thermal insulation and (often) passive fire proofing activities are strictly interconnected and overlap in both building and maintenance projects, and having a single source of responsibility is a further guarantee for clients.
The importance of corrosion protection under thermal insulation systems has been highlighted in recent years, and it requires both specialized coatings and accuracy in the design and installation of the insulation system itself.
Even more important is to use compatible multilayer systems that combine insulation and fire proofing in hydrocarbon fire environments with both pool-fire and jet-fire protection.
The experience we have gained over more than ten years enables us to install the best insulation solutions using ideal materials (either single or multi-layer) and design (including connections, supports, etc.) and to operate with highly skilled manpower in safety-sensitive installations such as offshore platforms and chemical plants.
