FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) lining of valves for contact with potable water and hydrocarbons, suitable for machining after application
In its Cuggiono plant, DonellI Alexo can carry out the internal lining of valves with the FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) process.
Different Fusion Bond Epoxy process options are available, including:
- Suitable for contact with potable water in accordance with KIWA, AWWA, WRAS, etc.;
- Machinable after application;
- Suitable for contact with hydrocarbon fluids up to 95°C in accordance with the most stringent end customer specifications, such as SAUDI ARAMCO (APCS-102A, APCS-102B, APCS-102C).
Additionally, we apply external coatings to fittings using single-layer FBE as well as dual-layer FBE (2LFBE, DLFBE), with the option of adding a final Abrasion Resistant Overcoating (ARO).
