During the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2026, our Group (with Piero Donelli), IMC engineering S.r.l., and Porto Antico di Genova S.p.A. received the Recognition of Excellence in Aesthetic Merit in a Coatings Project for the redevelopment project of the BIGO at the Port of Genoa, recognizing excellence in the execution of projects characterized by quality, innovation, and impact on existing heritage.
In fact, the work carried out over the past few months was an impressive undertaking that combined advanced protection, aesthetic enhancement, and extreme durability.
For us, the key takeaway is that, to carry out a complex project, everyone must work together, from the client to the designer, the contractors, and their subcontractors.
On the same occasion, we also had the opportunity to applaud other members of the AMPP Italy Chapter who have distinguished themselves internationally for their contributions and professional excellence.
Marco Ormellese, Marco De Marco, and Mario Celant were awarded for their exceptional and consistent contributions to promoting AMPP’s mission and activities, and Leila Es Sebar for excellence in the field application of corrosion protection technologies.
